Named after the Māori word for nectar and honey, Ngongo is a New Zealand-inspired saison as refreshing as a day on the island. This naturally-bright combination of lemon balm, chamomile, and locally-sourced orange blossom honey developed in an oak foeder, resulting in a citrus, herbal, and earth character that’s both slightly tart and sweet. Originally a collaboration with our friends at Garage Project— kia ora!

Canned 2021 version. Unclear gold with a white head that fades to a fat coat. Aroma of peach, boot polish, some old lemon, honey. Dry, light bodied and a little tart with flavours that are more integrated than suggested by the aroma. Lemony at the end. Elegant stuff.

Bottled 375ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Unclear yellow coloured, medium sized white head, wood, yeast and mild chamomile in the nose. Yeasty, spicy, noticable chamomile and touch of citrus with mild honey and oak in the finish. Interesting and well done.

50cl bottle from the DC outpost pours a translucent orange with some fluffy, white head. Nose has key lime, straw, grass, some wood shavings, some spice that's sticking out like chai maybe. Flavor is OK, some light grist, soap, potpourri, key limes, straw. Finishes dry and lightly tart. Not sure what to make of this. 7 4 6 3 12
