Dragon’s Milk Triple Mash is the ultimate indulgence, the result of years of honing technique and pushing the limits of what a barrel-aged stout can be.

Dragon’s Milk Triple Mash is aged for one year in select bourbon barrels. The flavors of Dragon’s Milk – chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, & oak – are all amplified in away that still allows for balance and refinement to shine through.

Pours near black with a very small tan head. It smells of roast malt, chocolate, oak, and bourbon. It tastes similar with massive roasted malt, chocolate, booze, vanilla, and bourbon. Full bodied. Strong, obviously. Very tasty.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a thin, deep brown to black with a small beige head that dissipates. Clear, almost see-through, under light. Vanilla, warming bourbon and a faint note of malt extract on the nose. More of the same on the palate...lots of vanilla and malt extract sweetness present. Warming bourbon and smooth oak notes on the finish. I prefer this year's vintage to the 2022.

The Aromas are a mild blend of cocoa, dark malt, roast, with hints of whiskey and oak. Flavors are similar to nose, on the sweet side up front, with good carbonation and bitter to balance. Decent body and good finish. Strength is hidden. Wonder how this would be with aging.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown with a small beige head that dissipates. Almost no lacing at all. Thin bodied stout with lots of bourbon aromas on the nose. As it warms some dark fruit, oak and vanilla notes but loads of bourbon. Warming alcohol throughout with a quick finish on the palate.

On tap. Pours black with almost no head. Aromas of sweet creamed coffee, molasses, a bit of green oak, and sweet roasted malts. Rich sweet flavors of same with a touch of coconut and soy. Hot finish but still really nice.
