Somewhat mild IPA, offering up grapefruit and mango and papaya but more pine than anything, with a cracker malt backbine and a modest bitterness on the finish. Good if a bit unremarkable.

On Tap Very dark brown with a creamy tan head. Medium toasted malts and a lilttel dark roast. Smooth soft hop flacvors to balance. Closer to a brown ale. I suspect an incorrect pour.

On tap at bitter Creek boise. Pours out a light hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice floral perfume hops some citrus and a light cereal malt. Taste is more of the nice floral hops a little earth tones and a well balanced malt to hop note.

Thanks to decaturstevo for sharing this. Orange body with a white head. The aroma is light caramel and some floral hops. The flavor is well balanced, not to sweet or too bitter. As a hop variety, Idaho 7 doesn’t show me any promise of anything new or better than any of the hop varieties now that I’m familiar with.

Bottle. Deep golden body with a frothy white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of leafy hops, toasted grain, citrus, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter and lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Clean malts combined with a tangy citrus taste. Crisp, juicy. Lemon in finish makes the mouth water.

Tea, orange peel, marigold nose. Cloudy amber, medium yellow head, good lacing. Malt, grain, orange peel accents. Medium body, easy carbonation. Quaffable and refreshing, but more of an APA than an IPA. I’d call it Imperial Pale.

24 ounce bottle from Beer Run, 5/10/15. Clear amber, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of dank, herbal, lemony hops. Some celery seed going on even. Pale malt, a bit of grain. The taste is herbal, dank, peppery, lemony hops. Mild caramel malt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, strong lingering bitterness.

Gold color. Well carbonated with a tall, thick white head. Dry hop aroma. A dry pale ale. Not much as far as malt flavors, but dry, spicy hops. Bitter, flowers. Dry finish with pepper.

30th May 2015: big bottle all to myself sat in the sun on the daughters patio. The beer was poured (three times) into a Corsendonk badged tulip and each pour was a cloudy, dull orange colour: the head a white affair. Not much aroma but the taste was all about orange trees and I could see where the ’tea’ flavours were present and why the label mentions the fact. decent but I expected more for the money I paid for the beer.
