Keg at MK VHX, 14/03/18. Black with a well presented tan head. Nose is stewed dark fruits, chocolate, candy bar, toffee. Taste comprises a sweet and soured fruit tang, chocolate, mellow roast, candied fruits, light spice, dried fruits. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. Decent enough impy stout.

04/02/2018 - small glass shared by tderoeck, 77ships @BAB, Bruges. Black colour, small tanned head. Nose is roast, burning alcohol. Taste is roasted, heavy alcohol, hint of vanilla, hint of sweetnes, bitter ending.

Cloudy black with a frothy, beige head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of apple, calvados, pear syrup, vanilla, bourbon, roasted malt. Tastes medium fruity/vanilla-like sweet and light roasted bitter; roasted/hoppy finish with some peated whisky. Full body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Probably the best I had at the festival.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lovely whisky aromas, nice roast, some caramel, lots of chocolate, hazelnuts. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of alcohol, soft roast, whisky, bit sweet, ginger bread, little bitter. Aftertaste: alcohol, whisky, bitter, nice roast, wood notes, more whisky, malty, chocolate, little sweet, fine one!

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017. A almost black beer with a mid sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of sweet dark malt, liquorice, sugar, Red fruits. Taste of dark red fruits, strong fruits, liquorice.

(Thank you!) Sampled draft @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017. Black, little head. Nose is too hot alcoholic varnish, low umami, molasses, low peat. Plastic whisky taste too hot varnish syrup, almost peat & soy sauce, syrup body. I liked the base beer quite a bit more.
