330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Attractive in the glass with an one-finger thick, bubbly, fawn coloured head with fine retention leaving crocheted behind. Coal black in the glass. Smell of chocolate malts with nuts and wood. Nicely roasted chocolate malty flavours sustained by anise and caramel. Solid mid-sweet, roasted malty end, smoothly warming. Enjoyed late on a Yuletide eve. (Tromsø 27.12.2017).

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy dark brown with off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, herbs, raisins, fruity notes, smoke, licorice. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied.

Pours hazy dark reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, wood, caramel, spices and licorice. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, woody, chocolate, spiced and licorice finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Sampled at Billies craftbeerfest 2017. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Don't mind my visual info to much, as lighting was really terrible. Pours dark brown, small white head. Smell is spicy, boozy. Taste is sharp, spiced, booze ( aquavit ) A bit too perfumy to me.

Nice light brown slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, oak, spices, dark malts, grass, cloves, licorice, minerals, alcohol, sour coffee. Taste is harsh mineraly, weeds, metal tank, alcohol, minerals, oak, bark, paper, soil, harsh spices, dark malts, hints of smoke and licorice. Medium bitterness, harsh metallic mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.

(Thank you!) Sampled draft @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017. Black, big mocha head. Spices in the nose are way overboard for me all I get is extreme black liquorice. Taste is very thick black liquorice, spices, cardamom, hand soap sweet & finish is harsh alcohol, the Aquavit presumably. Body is black liquorice, way too much of all of those things.

Clear brown to red amber beer, small creamy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: spicy, dried fruits, floral, some caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: nice roast, lots of chocolate, bit spicy, herbal. Aftertaste: nice roast, coffee, bitter, spicy, herbal, more roast.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen. Drukket på Bergstua. Ekstremt mørkebrun. Middels høyt lysebrunt skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Litt søt fruktaroma. Smaken passe søte sukkertøy. Tørr syrlig ettersmak. Velintegrert frukt- og likørpreg. Mye bunnfall.
