This ruby elixir is a blend of several red wines and honey. It was fermented and aged in a used oak barrel. The flavor and aromas are a balance of red fruit, honey and oak.

Nip sized bottle shared by Yaniv. Red color. Maybe some berry aroma, but definitely berry in the flavor. Sweet, still. Excellent.

6 oz. bottle thanks to Willrunforbeer, thanks for this share! Light brown color. Aroma is just a very light trace of grape with ample honey.
The flavor has just the slightest hint of red grapes. Very slight earthquake wood hint. But it doesn’t scream oak. Really borderline cloying sweet.

Thanks Brian for sharing this one. This bottle needs like some sort of nipple apparatus. it’s teeny tiny like a pacifier. Drink your medicine.
A - Reddish brown and completely still (duh).
S - Smells insanely good. a lot of wine tannins, oak, raspberries, cherry, clove.
T - Sweet, juicy, tastes really old like a decade. faded fruits, musty mold, oak barrel and liqueur .
M - Very thin mouthfeel, cloyingly sweet. lingering tobacco finish
O - Interesting but there are other meads I’d rank much higher. Sorry guys.

Bottle thanks to FlandersNed. Pours dark ruby red. Nose of honey, oak, vanilla and red fruits. Taste of same but finish is dry cheap red wine. Medium body.

Bottle, courtesy of bushmat1. You’re a bad ass mofo. Deep reddish orange appearance with no head. Big red grape, caramel, brown sugar, rich honey aroma. Super rich, brown sugar, sweet honey, ripe purple grape flavor. Another fun one to try by Kuhnhenn. Thanks again Matt!

Bottle. Pours a clear reddish amber with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a good amount of alcohol with some sweet honey and a bit of backing dry wine. Flavor begins with sweet honey and is joined by dry wine with a hint of backing alcohol that warms your throat.

6 oz bottle. A still mead, red amber in color. Aromas of white bread, honey, red grape juice, somewhat toasty. Flavor has honey and white bread, rather sweet, with red grape. Not quite a syrupy palate, this is on the thinner side of that. I definitely like it.
