0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before November 2021, cellared for over a year. A little hazy, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of molasses, raisins, plums, light vanilla and a touch of whisky. Rather sweet, malty, gently bitter and a little fruity taste of molasses, raisins, plums, caramel, some vanilla and quite some whisky, followed by a long, gently bitter, warming, rather boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Still a little hot, other than that nicely rich and saturating, a bit more sophisticated than the bourbon variants.
