Het is een goudkleurig bier met een witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige wat citrusachtige geur. De smaak is hoppig en droog met een bittere afdronk.

Pale yellow. Small, aroma is citrus. Lemon, hops. Taste is very weird, fizzy, soapy, light sour, yeghh…

Pours black, rather big white head. Smell is roasty, coffee, tad creamy. Lactose is hidden. Taste is full, creamy, mild lactose, coffee, some dark chocolate. Tad bitterness that clashes ( mildly) with the lactose. Decent.

28 April 2019. At Zythos Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, 77ships & tderoeck! Clear pale golden, lasting, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of apple peel, pear, mandarin, mango, breadcrust, soap. Taste is light fruity sweet, a bit tropical (mango, pineapple), some apple peel, lemony-wheaty touch underneath a subtle, hoppy bitter middle with grass & pepper, more developed in the dry, peppery hoppy finish, enduring spiciness, yellow fruits, bread & yeast. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Quenching Session IPA, well done.

Briefly sampled at ZBF, thanks Erwin Plancke for sharing. Snow white, mousy head on a lightly hazy pale yellowish golden beer. Bright, citrusy and 'sunny' aroma of orange peel, mango, lime zest, carambola, white bread. Restrained fruitiness in the onset, cleanish and medium sweet with lively but (for this style) fitting carbonation, slick and smooth and feeling fuller than 4.5% ABV even if this is, after all, already on the high side for a session IPA; retronasally, the full colours of the hops develop, very bright and citrusy, with notes of mango and starfruit but low in 'dankness'; bitterish, quenching, drying hoppy finish. A very bright, lively, sunny and citrusy session IPA, among the best in Belgium I tasted so far so I am definitely going to need more than a few sips and revisit this one!

28/IV/19 - sample @ Zythos Bierfestival 2019 (Leuven), BB: n/a - (2019-596) Thanks to nathanvc, 77ships & Anke for sharing today's beers!
Clear pale blond beer, creamy solid white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: some citrus, bit of tropical fruits, yeasty, slightly floral. MF: lovely carbon, medium to light body. Taste: fruity start, hoppy, bit yeasty, spicy, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: bitter, grassy, not bad.
