0.33 l bottle @ Boheme, Faro. Sticky, bittersweet AIPA, noting outstanding, but not bad either.

From tap at Bo Brewpub, Lisboa. Malty aroma with ripe fruits. Caramel malt, fruit marmalade. Sweetish, moderate bitter. Just not hoppy enough (to say the least). Overcarbonated and dull.

Keg at the Letraria Porto. A light hazed deep orange coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is brett, spicy funk, pineapple, lemon surbert. Little bubble gum. . Flavour is composed of semi sweet, wheat, bretty funk. Tart citrus, rounded biscuity grains.. Palate is airy carbonation, light grains, tart. Decent.

Re-rating (previous 3.3). Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 12C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L407I (BBF MAR.2021). AROMA: medium-low hop notes with a citrus character (ripe grapefruit). medium-low orange-like esters. medium malt background, slightly sweet, with a a toffee-like character. APPEARANCE: light amber color and clear. excessive ivory head with good retention. TASTE: similar to aroma with medium-low hop notes (citric, slightly pine). medium-low toffee-like malt background. medium-high bitterness with an almost dry finish. faint cereal husk presence. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with excessive carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: an average english-like IPA with a bit of too much carbonation.

Keg at Cerveteca Lisboa. It pours cloudy dirty orange with a thick yellow-white head. The nose is earthy, passion fruit, light herbal, liquorice, creamy malts and dough. The taste is bitter, rather boozy upfront, astringent, toasty grass, varnish, mild citrus rind, with a pretty dry finish. Medium body and moderate-high carbonation. A like aspects of this, but it is very harsh. Too much raw alcohol going on.
