This beer takes you wandering
The soft, creamy feeling in the mouth, coming from the wheat, takes you to the seventh heaven. There, the hoppy aroma whisks you away on a journey along the Mediterranean farmers markets full of apricots and figs, luscious flower fields and an orchard full of ripe oranges.
The gravity coming from the alcohol is minimal, so you can pour it down your heavenly body without the weightless feeling.

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 18 Oct 2018) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of white bread, orange and a touch of vanilla. Malty, fruity taste with white bread, orange, citrus peel, grain and a mild citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made witbier. Nice one.

A hazed blonde wit with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity banana malt with light lactic notes, faint peated notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light banana esters, cloves, light mineral notes, light peated notes, pleasant. On tap at L'autre oeil.

Bottle a tight home in Hackney - picked up at Beer Merchants Tap, London. Pours lightly hazy gold-orange with a strong, frothy white head. Has some grainy wheat character, grassy bitterness, alcohol, lemon peel, dry yeast. Medium bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Finishes with some alcohol warmth, dried pear, dried wheat flakes. Not bad.
