Since its debut at our Boston Brewery in Summer 2016, Raspberry Lemon Gose has become one of our most popular and anticipated summer beers. This light-bodied ale gets its hazy appearance and crisp taste from white wheat, while coriander and salt – key ingredients in goses – add hints of fresh citrus. The real twist on this classic style comes from the addition of raspberry and lemon, which contribute a blast of bright, tart fruit and tanginess, the perfect pairing for a hot summer day.

Bottle at work: pinkish tinged but mostly normal colored beer. Aroma is faint raspberry and lemon. Taste equally faint. Light sourness. Some salt. Drinkable but mediocre as all hell. Very little thought was put into this.

Enjoyed at the Taphouse Northern Grill in Sudbury. Pours a golden-orange colour with a pink, very light hue, an off-white head with dirty lacing. Fresh raspberry nose with some light sourness, making the lemon stick out. The taste is a nice balance of raspberries, lemon citrus notes, grains and a decent hoppy finish. A fruity refreshing beer that is great for summer.

Draught at the brewery, 6/28/18.
Very lightly cloudy, peach-strawberry-to-copper-golden. White head fizzles out quickly.
Very dry, seemingly, in the nose with sparse, cracker-heavy malt, definite coriander and peppery, leafy, green notes. Not much raspberry or lemon to speak of and it's clean enough, but just sort of there. Doesn't seem much like a gose at all, however.
Light salinity is noticeable in the mouth with a bit of soft wheat and light raspberry acidity. Little/no lactic component. Chewy wheat emerges more with warming and the texture comes through with engaging carbonation helping. Ends with light floral notes and raspberry essence. Nice enough, light, easygoing and drinkable with bright lemon that builds up a bit too much, being rather unintegrated. Not much of a gose.

Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a hazy bright orange color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet with lime, salt, faint berry and yeast. The flavor was tart with lemon, salt and berry. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Bottle a tight home in Canaan, NH. Pours mostly clear gold with a foamy, white head. Vague raspberry in the nose, some tangy citrus. Light sweet flavourbwith minimal acidity, notes of wheat bread, shades of seedy raspberry. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with semi-sweet, faintly tangy berries. Perfectly drinkable, but also quite basic.

Pours hazy orange/amber without a thick head. Aroma is weak, there are some notes of citrus. Taste is overwhelmingly of raspberry with some lemon notes on the back of the tongue. None of the taste normally associated with a gose. Palate is simple, same as taste. Nothing in this beer suggests good craftsmanship or even lives up to the advertised style. But it tastes ok and it’s drinkable.

Bottle from the mixed case from Bj's Slightly hazy light golden color with a good sized long lasting bubbly white head. Raspberry on the nose without much else. Tastes like a salty raspberry wine cooler, not nearly enough tartness for the style. Meh!
