Can: Poured an amber color ale with a large slightly off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry caramelized malt notes with light bitterness. Taste is a smooth mix of caramelized malt with some dry bitter hops that are well balanced. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Easy drinking with just enough bite.

Can from the lcbo. Clear amber Pour with a large off white head. Aroma is light caramel, lightly toasted malts, apples and light fruit. Standard mouth feel and carb. Typical light fruit, light mineral ale finish. I still do no understand why people still brew this style. Well made beer but incredibly boring.

An amber ale with a thick frothy lacing off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, treacle, OK. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light grassy hops, treacle, light mineral notes, pleasant. On tap at Cheshire Cat.

Slightly hazy amber colour with golden highlights. The head is big, frothy, almost creamy, long lasting leaving some nice even lacing. Big caramel nose to the point that I think is diacetyl is present with its butterness, and some yeast. Yep, diacetyl in the taste, but luckily hops do come in to help a little. Watery mouthfeel. Again, thankfully some hops gives a little dryness in the finish. Really not a fan of this one.

This cream ale poured an almost red colour with a big, beautiful, creamy off white head. Minimal lacing. Scents include a bit of caramel and light hoppiness. First swig was nice and smooth with flavours of malt and mild hops. Finish is mildly bitter with that delicious malty flavour lingering.
