Born Yesterday feat. fresh hops rushed from farm-to-brewery in under 24 hrs!
If we could bottle the smell of harvest time in Yakima Valley, WA, we would. Hell, we try every year! Today we get the next best thing: Born Yesterday. See, once hops are harvested, the flavor clock starts ticking’. So we rush a select bunch of whole-cone ‘wet’ hops on refrigerated trucks straight to Lagunitas. In less than 24hrs they arrive and immediately drop into this brew via a stoopid custom-built contraption, injecting all their precious aromatics. Special delivery indeed. Congratulations, it’s a beer!

Flaska från SB. Gyllengul disig vätska med medelhögt vitt skum. Frisk och fruktig doft med spänstig humle. Juicig tropisk frukt och citrus och samtidigt lite rivig beska med drag av gräs och nässlor. Men ändå drickvänlig och riktigt god.

355ml Bottle - Golden with a slight haze and a white head. Grapefruit, pineapple and lemon in the aroma. Hoppy and fruity taste with grapefruit, orange, mandarin and pineapple standing out.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Hazy golden/yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of mango, pineapple and some malt. The same in the taste, also some citrus. Medium body and bitterness.

Sent by Lagunitas for comment. For an unfiltered ale, it pours just a little bit cloudy. There is a nice tropical fruit nose, maybe mango and pineapple. The hops in the palate are not muck bigger, but continue to show me the northwestern hop note. It's backed up by a strong malt backbone and a 7.2% abv. Now this beer may have suffered from sitting around in a UPS warehouse over the weekend when temps were first hitting the 80s. But it did weather well, with maybe some of the fruity hop flavor being dulled, but it's still a flavorful beer and a go-with for heavier meats and sausage.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a mostly clear orange hue with a large bubbly white head. A nice dank nose. Really big hops, dank, some citrus, pine. Sweet malty core. Very nice brew. Light yeasty funk, there is some Orval in here really. Taste this and then Orval. There is a link!

Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers this beer poured a murky golden peach color with a large fliuffy orange white head that left great lacing. The aroma was onion and earthiness. The flavor was onion, earthiness and yeast. Long finish. Medium body.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light citrus pulp, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, tropical fruit and kiwi, very nice. On tap at Chicago brewery.
