On tap at the Civil Society Anniversary. Pours a dark brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is dark fruit, wood, bourbon, toffee. Slick body, raisin, licoirce, wood, caramel, light boozy finish, very good.

Vintage 2017 (September). Czy byl Bourbon, no niestety nie, beczki nie czulo sie zadnej, ale za to fantastyczna nuta sour Ale, Kwaskowe, wisnie, kwasne maliny, troche karmelu alko ukryte, ladny wyglad czerwone rubinowe piwo, lekko metne, z piekna i trwala piana, dosc jasna jak spienione mleko wygladala. Cos jak skrzyzowanie Flandres Red z Barley Wine w angielskim stylu rzecz jasna. Mi to pasoowalo, wytrawne, kwaskowe, dobre choc nie rewelacyjne. Dobra wspolpraca z Fuller'sem.

Bottle. Color: Dark reddish brown, light beige head. Aroma: Sweetish, caramel, Brett. Taste: Medium sweet, malt, caramel, dried dark red fruit. Clear Brett notes, which also gives the beer a slightly sourish taste. Very subtle Bourbon, this strengthens the caramel a little bit. Slightly boozy and vanilla hints. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Quite nice. I think it is interesting to know the story about it on https://www.marblebeers.com/prize-old-ale/ to fully understand and appreciate this beer.

25cl at In De Wildman. Pours a root beer brown with some sticky, white head. Nose has more vinegar and acid that I would have thought, woody, stale, vanilla, bourbon, malt, some smoke or tobacco. Flavor is a little malt, some vanilla, a little nail polish, wet wood, some stale red wine. Full boded, medium acid, a little boozy. 7 3 6 2 11

Glass draft @ In De Wildeman. Dark red amber, creamy tanned. Nose is dried cherries, figs, raison, candied fruit, sticky sugar & dark fruit, great oxidation, lower bourbon taste. Taste is all figs, dried cherry, great oxidation, caramel, bourbon is great, chewy,… Surprised to see this beer being remade & BA but very happy.

Prize Old Ale Bourbon Barrel Aged ].Unclear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, bourbon, alcohol, vinous, vanilla - jammy fruit - jammy figs. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, bourbon, alcohol, vinous, vanilla - jammy fruit - jammy figs.
