Pours rather clear, dark amber. Small white head. Smell is medium intense, thick, heavy grains. Taste is full, thick, bit sweet, fruity maltyness. Tad boozy, well brewed. Not overly exciting tho.

Thanks for sharing Kraddel + tderoeck +Friends. Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli 2017. Amber orange, little head. Nose is candy, oxidation, chestnuts. Taste is sugar, chestnuts, surprisingly oxidized, marmalade, all sweet, raisin, sugar, feels bit too oxidized but nice enough sweet profile.

25/XI/17 - sample @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli (Brussels) - BB: n/a (2017-1958) thanks to Kraddel, 77ships and other Antwerp and international tickers for sharing today's beers!

Clear orange beer, small creamy yellowish to beige head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lovely smell, quite some tropical fruits, malty, some caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter start, fruity, some grapefruit, orange peel. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, alcohol, bit malty, hoppy, dry finish, grains, bit malty. I prefer my barley wines a bit sweeter TBH.

Tap at Luppolo Station (Rome). Cloudy coppery pour, big ivory foam. Nose: plastic notes (quite hidden), sweet notes of ripe cherry. Mouth: surprisingly sessional, sweet molasses, not that rich. Limbo beer.
