Our head brewer had the romantic idea of doing a 100% Tahoma hop farmhouse ale. After testing the hops in an infusion tea, we found it was so bad, and so dead that we had to look somewhere else for the hop bill. But Tahoma was such a cool name that we decided to keep it even if there is No Tahoma hop in this beer! This Farmhouse pale ale is brewed with oat malt, hopped with Ella, Magnum and Smaragd. Dry-hopped with Simcoe, Centennial and Rakau.

Thanks for sharing Kraddel + tderoeck +Friends. Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli 2017. Golden, bright soapy white head. Nose is soapy BE esters, grainy De La Senne styled esters, taste is the same, esters but also bit too soapy, low green, hay, barn. Too soapy BE but not bad.

Bottle. Hazy and pale. Big head. On the nose, I get a pear, orange, melon hop blend, with a fair bit of yeast. Dry, yeasty, pale malt, with a lot of bright, fruity hop. This has nice saison character, dry, yeasty, with a nice hop accent in the finish. I'm down.

In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light catty notes, nice and complex. Bottle at Hugue and Alex tasting.
