Bag-in-a-box at the New Union, Kendal. Hazy pale yellow. Ooh, now, this one is interesting. Lemon, barnyard funk, pear and lime. Sweetish, tart and full of flavour. Really more-ish, really good and very different. I shall look out for this producer in future.

Bladderybox at Pigs Ear 2018, day one, 04/12/18. Almost translucent yellow with a white cap. Nose is sharp orange, lemon sherbets, straw. Taste comprises lemon sherbets, sweeter than the nose suggests, grass. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Refreshing if not really a perry for me.

Box at Pigs Ear 2018 - Hackney, London. Day 5. Pours clear pale yellow with a bubbly white head. Fairly sweet and also salty, has some lemony acidity, pale bread, ripe and sugary pears. Medium bodied, soft. Sweet finish, more ripe and sugary pears, mild acidity, more salty bite. Fairly fun.

Draft at pigs Ear. Not a style common in the USA, so decided to branch out a bit. Hit a home run just picking this by name. Pale yellow, white wine appearance, bubbly ring lasts. Fruity aroma, lemon and pear. Taste is more fruity, a bit more lemony , mild tartness, awfully like a glass of lemonade. Super tasty.

Box @ Salutation Inn, Ham, Gloucestershire. Pours a misty yellow. Aroma has nice citrussy apple fruit. Taste has interesting, complex perry fruit, bright tannins with sharp citrus and pleasant sour moments. Nice.

Keg at EoE. It pours lightly hazy lemonade coloured with no head. The aroma is tart, tangy, pear, zingy lemon - lime, funk, barnyard, hay, elderflower and musty action. The taste is tart, tangy, juicy, pear action, kick of acidity, barnyard funk, elderflower cordial, zingy lemon - lime, lemonade, melon and sour candy with a tangy and fruity finish. Medium body and flat. Pretty novel stuff.
