Our version of an American Blonde Ale with a European twist. We use British lager malt and a late addition of Czech hops to deliver a light and refreshing blonde ale with a crisp, satisfying finish.

Bottle. Cheers Chris. Slightly dirty looking, hazy, pale gold. Fine white head is semi lacing. Nose has pilsner malt. Leafy hop. Privet. Cut grass. Taste is fairly dry, with a crisp, light tart bitterness. Light body. Fine carbonation. Nice crisp bitterness to finish. Nice beer, but I’d put it in the golden/blonde ale category rather than APA.

330ml bottle. Pours clear gold, medium white head. Aroma is floral, yeasty perhaps, sweet. Taste is clean with a moderate sweetness, soft yeast, citrus, floral with a light body. Lager notes are evident from both the malt and noble hops, but not off-putting. Good sessionable blonde with welcome soft sweetness.

Bottle from Vinomondo, Conwy. Golden-blonde with a thin head. Has a mild soapy-hoppy aroma and taste, and fairly smooth tasting. Its lager influence is very evident.

On tap at Eebria Taproom Bermondsey. Hazy gold lasting white head. Biscuit golden ale plenty of hop. I rather liked this. Bit too carbonated. Some biscuit malt some good biting hop finish. Very drinkable. Malty though. Interesting. You would guess it’s going to be a session ipa or golden ale. It ends up as a hoppy malty biscuit beer. Good though

Bottle. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - pale malt and a hint of citrus. Taste - more citrus on the taste but still mostly pale malt. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a solid example of the style if a bit unexciting.
