Back in 1967, Procol Harum sang that they "skipped the light fandango". But they couldn't have been referring to this hoppy hootenanny of an ale, as no lover of craft beer would skip the chance to savour Fandango's light, citrusy undertones and crowd-pleasing flavour!

Half-pint, on tap at Barrels. Shared with Finn. Firm creamy white head, clear late straw coloured body, clingy lacing. Moderate smell of ripe lemon. Hop fruity flavours of lemon, pale malts, and grass. Soft, mid-sweet fruity end. Crispy. Fair enough. (Hereford 16.10.2022).

Delt med Rune. Lys gylden. Tett skum som blir film. Klar. Aroma av frukt. Smaken tørket frukt. Søt. Tilløp til bitterhet - men gjennomgående for søt.

Keg draught at Arch Rivals, Worcester. Light gold, clear with natural carbonation and a thin ring of white head. Light sticky candy sugar aroma with light citrus and tropical fruit, especially a nice side note of banana. Sweet taste, lots of fruit to the fore with a sugary sweet finish. Some bitterness lingers in the aftertaste. Light body, light to medium carbonation. Good although ephemeral.

Keg @ Sankeys, Burntwood. Pours a generally clear golden yellow, overly large white head. Softly sweet nose, taste bears soft yeasty flourishes, with faint tropical fruit moments. Decent Wye Valley blonde.

18/6/2019. Keg at the Pelican Inn, Gloucester. Pours clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of lemon, lime, hops, tropical fruits, grass and straw. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily and watery texture, average to soft carbonation, but quite gassy to finish. Modern offering as an alternative to their cask beers, but their cask is generally better.
