Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, bubbly white foam head that quickly dissipates and aroma of fruit, apple, wood, funk, vanilla. Taste is appley, woody, some sweetness, funky & wood barrel hints, with light acidity and alittle tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle, thanks Grumbo for this! Pours a straw golden yellow with a light mist. Aroma is lightly sweet, apple pie, orchard must. Taste is quite dry with a soft sourness, not overly sharp, some smooth musty orchard notes, good natural fruit sweetness. Decent.

Handpull at the Queen Edith, Cambridge. Light yellow, clear, some light carbonation forming a white film on top. Mild, unobtrusive apple aroma. The taste however is something else! Tangy, vinegary, sweet/sour and fruity. A bit fizzy like sours candy on the palate. Crabapple in the aftertaste. A wonderfully intense cider, a bit more balance would be amazing.

Bottle split at Craft Beer co Clerkenwell. Thanks to Leighton. Nice green petrol colour, evapourating white head. Aroma is crisp sweet apple, crystaline sugar.Slight alcohol. Flavour is musty / musky apple, nice fruit presence. Medium sweet finish. Nice cider. Not sure I’m full calibrated for cider.

Bottle split at CBC thanks to Leighton on 22/10/13. Clear light blonde with a thin white head of bubbles that steer a course edgeward. Nose is mouldy apples, light smoke, dank orchard tones, faint whiff of vodka! Taste comprises apple skin, apple pie, pears, musty, earthy orchard twigs. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish. Decent cider.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell - London. This one I believe I got at Bacchanalia in Cambridge. Pours perfectly clear, pale yellow. Ripe apples nose with suggestions of musty basement. Medium sweet flavor but it still has some nice, offsetting dry funk. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Faint warmth in the finish with a bit of sweat and basement along with sweet, ripened apples. Delicious stuff.
