Bottle thanks to Fergus, split at the Hazlemere 2nd test tasting, 16/07/20. Clear golden with a decent white cap that dissipates to spotting ... good presence for a perry! Nose is pear drop, sweet orchard esters, floral notes, sugars. Taste comprises tarte pears, bitter sweet notes, straw, tannins, hay bale. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent Perry.

Bottle. RAD Beer. Clear, straw colour. Very fine halo of white. Nose has stewed dessert pear. Sliced, ripe pear. A bit sweaty. A bit sulphurous. Taste is sweet and sticky, with an edge of woody, sulphurous bitterness. Light on the palate. Fine carbonation. Nicely bittersweet finish.

750ml bottle from Beer Zoo. Yellowy golden colour, short-lived thin white foam head and aroma of fruity pear with some core and skin. Taste is sweet, pear, fleshy & fruity, citric along with soft drying tannin. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tannic finish with residual sweetness. Well balanced, nicely drinkable.

75cl bottle picked up at Oliver's farm. Pours clear gold, light perry pear skins on the nose. Taste is fairly light, a little more oily sweet than the previous year with light dusty tannins that also weren't present last time. Fruity sweet perry pear, but not overly sweet, really beautifully balanced. Very good indeed.
