Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Black. Butterscotch, roast, toffee, some fruitiness, sour and sweetish, a bit buttery, some berries, a bit lemony. Interesting

Opaque dark brown colour, fair frothy tan head, mostly diminishing. Aroma toasted malt, strawberries, raspberries, hint of chocolate. Taste medium sweet and sour, malty, fruity, all kinds of berries, chocolate notes. Mild sweet 'n sour aftertaste, bit roast, berries, tart. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, good refreshing dark sour, enjoyed this one very much.

28th Jan 2019. Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting in Chez Sophie. This was the last of the collaboration set, we had all six during the session, splitting the cost between the five of us. Black bodied, wispy head. Tart berries and currents from start to finish; interesting but just a little too sour for my palate.

Can split at L6, thanks to Kenny, 27/09/18. Light black with a moderate tan covering that soon dissipates. Nose is tangy red berries, cocoa dusting, tarte citric rinds, earthy, straw. Taste comprises dusty red berry pangs, aniseed, herbal notes, blackcurrant, funk, light chocolate dusting. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi dryig close. Not bad for a dark sour.

Can shared in London - cheers to Ken. Pours clear brown with a small, creamy khaki head. Not bad, lots of ripe berries, grape, blackberries, brown bread, mild acetic bite. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Tart finish, a little roast and earth, more tangy berries. Enjoyable.
