28th Jan 2019. Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting in Chez Sophie. This was the third of the collaboration set, we had all six during the session, splitting the cost between the five of us. Large white head sat on the misty golden body. Both the pineapple and grapefruit mentioned in the 'blurb' came through in both the aroma and taste. I liked it, others not so keen.

Bottle split at L6, thanks to Kenny, 27/09/18. Murky orange yellow with a decent off white head. Nose is pissy citrics, light funk, dankish notes, raw tropical fruits. Taste comprises bitter sweet pineapple, ripe tropical fruits, straw, grains, light yeast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but doesn't deliver the refreshment factor I crave from a saison ... a little too sweet for me.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Murky orange body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of minerals, cranberry and grass. Flavour of grapefruit, sour lime and salted orange. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. A tart IPA. Weird but interesting.
