Bottle shared in Watford. Pours clear red-brown with a small, creamy tan head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of dried berries, toasted brown bread, nips of leather, earth. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly sweet finish, more toasted malts, light yeast expression. Basic, fine.

Bottle shared at the watford Christmas tasting 10/12/2021. Many thanks to Leighton for this one. A clear amber brown halo of loose beige head. Aroma is light mint, amber, brandy snap sugars,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy, orange, biscuit aged grains, tangy apple. Woody bark,. Bit aged,.

Keg at Skaal, CPH, 11/11/17. Amber orange with a well presented beige cap. Nose is caramel, spice, earthy fruits, light booze aroma. Taste comprises fruit cake, toffee, dried fruits, candied fruit peel, light spice. Medium plus bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent Belgian affair.

Red brown beer, small head. Aroma is herbs, berries, fruit, malt. Taste is the same, bitter sweet, nice one.

Bottle pours out brown amber color with a small head. Nose has tons going on fruit roast coffee all sorts of stuff. Taste is just as crazy a mix of fruit candy sugar and roast.

bottle from voldby. clear amber, smooth offwhite to brown head. sweet malty aroma, also faint dark fruits in there. earthy. perhaps a little chocolate and coffee. flavor is coffee, browncakes, pebernødder, malty or herbal bitterness to balance. very christmassy beer, but quite alright.

[Copenhagen 2017] Draft sample @ SKAAL. Dark amber, little head, cough syrup appearance. Smell is herbal BE cough syrup, candy sweet. Taste is BE & DE sweet profiles, herbal, soap, cloying, fish guts. Hard to drink cough syrup, bit much.

On tap at Kick Off Sports Pub. Cloudy amber with a lasting white head. Aroma of dark sugar, banana and phenolic spice. Sweet fruity and spicy flavour, and probably the strongest cinnamon/clove bitterness in Danish Christmas beer
