500ml bottle from Woodfield Stores, Shrewsbury: BB Sep 19. Drank at home on 22nd May 19. Lovely red hue to the clear body (until I poured in the sediment), cloudy brown at the finish. Adding the sediment half-way through meant I had two beers for the price of one. The Belgian/Saison yeast really changed the taste once it joined the brew from the base of the bottle, giving a slight sour and bitterness not present at first, it complimented the original fruity flavours nicely.

Rocky light brown head stayed well on an effervescent dark copper coloured body. Malt & pith aroma. Medium bodied, highly carbonated over the tongue with an airy back & clean aft. Bitter pithy tastes of citrus, wood, rye, pine, berry & juniper. Decent quaffable stuff.

9/2/2019. Bottle from Beer Dock, Crewe. Pours hazy amber with a large off-white head. Aroma of hops, resin, caramel, citrus, tropical fruit. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, bit above average carbonation. Great aroma, but follow through a little less impressive.

Half-pint, keg at Old Fountain. Hazed dark orange coloured body. Spotty lacing from a low beige head. Rather rich smell of ripe dark fruits. Mixed taste of brown malts and red orange. Hints of leafy bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Tasty. (London 10.01.2019).
