Draft in a bottle from lowcostbeer. Black with small beige head. Aroma of roast, wood, chocolate, stone fruits, herbs. Tangy with fruity and herbal hop notes but with plenty of roast, liquorice and chocolate maltiness. Good hoppy stout.

330ml can as part of a delivery from Hops & Dots and drunk at home. Dark brown and opaque with a thick brown head. Sweet aroma with chocolate malt and pine resin with just a touch of liquorice. Sweet taste with some fruity hoppy sourness, leading to a long finish the lacks the balance of the rest of the beer. Overall a very nice hoppy stout.

Can shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of light sherbet, musty cocoa powder. Taste is dry, over-attenuated. Cocoa powder linger.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Bottle Apostle, Hackney. Pours deep brown with a creamy, khaki head. Good ashy stuff, lots of bitter dark chocolate, scorched earth. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Bitter finish, more baking cocoa, drying ash, tobacco leaves. Pretty good.
