A magical modern stout. Munich and Roasted Barley kicks things off with nutty and coffee flavours before Chocolate lends its weight for both body and a wonderful biscuity whiff. Things get interesting when Magnum, Mosaic and Falconer’s Flight jump in with their orange and herbal flavours and fruity and floral finish. Enigmatic? Perhaps. Sophisticated? Beyond question.

330ml can as part of a delivery from Hops & Dots and drunk at home. Dark brown and opaque with a thick brown head. Sweet aroma with chocolate malt and pine resin with just a touch of liquorice. Sweet taste with some fruity hoppy sourness, leading to a long finish the lacks the balance of the rest of the beer. Overall a very nice hoppy stout.
