I want you to make Brown Ale and call it BrAle
One of the sources for financing our beer story was an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. The prize for 1000$ investment was the chance to name one of our beers. We didn't expect anyone to pick that prize, but a gentleman from Split had faith in us and he invested that money into the project. The title quote is what he told us when we asked him "How would you like us to call this beer?" :)
BrAle is American brown ale. A hoppy dark beer with lightly roasted aroma. Chinook hop dominates with its blueberry notes and blends nicely with dark malts. With 4,9% ABV, BrAle makes an ideal candidate for all seasons.
Style: American brown ale
Hops: Magnum, Chinook

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ Swafff 2018. Another Nova Runda beer where I am surprised by the very high score. Murky ugly brown, little head. Nose is spoiled leaves, bread, unpleasant murky. Rotting spoiled leaves, bark, milk, thin bodied, not a fan.

Aug. ’15. On tap at Hmeljevo festival, Split. This one turned out to be a hard nut to find, at least before. It poured a hazy brown body with tiny head atop. Pleasantly roasted malt with decent amount of hops in aroma. Coffee and herbal basically. Lightly bitter flavor, orange (citrus) hops and roasted coffee, caramel and dark fruit malt. Medium to thin in body with not so long finish, but very smooth and balanced. Dark chocolate picked up in the aftertaste. I would prefer more body, but it’s a fine hoppy brown ale anyway.

Keg at Craft Room, Zagreb. Hazy nut brown, creamy head. Peach and citrus up front. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and toast, tropical fruiys lead to a really bitter finish. Solid.
