Cask-conditioned on gravity, at Weymouth Octoberfest. Near black in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweetish stout, with some coffee notes, vanilla and milk chocolate, before a gentle finish. Good.

Cask at The Lyric, Soho, London. A black coloured pour with a healthy creamy beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, vanilla aroma. Tastes the same slightly roasty, malty, chocolate, vanilla, quite sweet and creamy. I really enjoyed this sweet stout from Big Smoke.

Cask at the Lyric - London. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds rich milk chocolate, subtle roasted malts, cocoa, earth. Light to medium sweet flavour with more creamy milk chocolate, moderate roast, light earthy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced in the finish, with some dark fruits, plum, berries, further milk chocolate, burnt sugars. Solid overall.
