This beautiful pale golden beer is produced using very floral hops, lending it almost a hint of sherbet. It’s brewed in honour of all those who like to exaggerate their credentials. Don’t get too excitable however. It’s just a chicken!

Given to me in a pack of three ’rude named’ beers for Christmas by a friend of my wife. Brought this one to share with others on 20th March 2017 at Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Clear and clean golden body, white head. Light floral and caramel nose, fairly sweet taste wise, the finish turning slightly metallic. Difficult to score because it seemed to change direction mid-gulp.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Nose is surprisingly not bad, moderately sweet with some lemon curd, sweet malts. Taste continues with the sweetness, some floral citrus finishing with a lightly metallic edge. I feel annoyed that I don’t hate this.

One of a bunch of potty mouthed beers purchased at the Essex Food Fair at Cressing Temple Barn. Hazy pale gold beer, residual white head. Light palate - a bit too dry. The hops are indeed a little floral, whisper of some citrus as well. Tame hops but do impart some flavour. Finishes dry with a very midly bitter aftertaste. Not too bad.
