A distinctively fresh bittersweet, still, cloudy cider. Appley aroma with peaty undertones, this medium dry cider is just challenging enough to be easy drinking. A real taste of the orchard for those ready to embrace proper cider.

Draft from post office vaults in Birmingham. Pours a cloudy gold leaves a bubbly top. Aroma of dessert apples, sweet and tart with a mild funkiness. Taste is sour and fruity apples, a little funky, dry. A bit homemade which gives it character but lacks finesse. Decent though.

Bag-in-a-box at the Fell Bar, Kendal. Hazy yellow. Tangy tart apples with an earthy hint. Generally sweet but with a hint of dry apple skins in the finish. Pretty enjoyable and quite more-ish.

Handpull at the Old Horse, Leicester. Light yellow and slightly hazy with a foamy white head. Deliciously rough aroma with crabapples, pickling spices, a bit of sulphur. The taste is rough but not delicious with a pervading sourness overpowering any gentler flavours. Needs work but certainly passable.

Box @ Stable, Birmingham. Pours a misty gold, lightly sour fruit aroma. Taste presents an initial mild sour astringent tang, with decent farmhouse apple fruit emerging. Becomes moreish after half a pint.
