A light blonde beer @ 4.7 % ABV. Full of flavour with 5 different American hops with a more maltier background to compliment the hops using the wonderful Vienna malt. Brewed especially for the 25th Shrewsbury CAMRA beer Festival.

Bottle from Tanners Wine Merchants, Shrewsbury. Lighter golden with a small bubbly head. Nice fusion of malt and hops here, giving it a traditional feel with some light citrus notes in taste.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a coppery with a off white whispery head. Aroma is sweet grain and light perfume hops. Taste is rugged earthy hops, malty balance, long lasting.

Danke an minutemat. Heller, süßlich muffig getreidiger Beginn, kaum karbonisiert. Leicht bitter, trocken, konstant. Kaum steigend hopfig, trocken hopfiger Abgang. Okay. 9/8/7/9/8/8

11/4/2020. Bottle courtesy of minutemat, cheers. Pours clear straw gold with a good size white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, floral, grassy. Moderate sweetness with quite a heavy hit of hoppy citric grapefruit bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, average carbonation. Not bad, liked the bitterness.

Bottle from Tanners, Shrewsbury. Appearance - drank it oot the bottle so nae help here. Sorry. Nose - pine and grapefruit. Good. Taste - caramel and more pine or lavender. Light caramel. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - this is decent even if I didn’t get to look at it.

Cask @ Montgomery’s Tower, Shrewsbury, as ’Silver Chalice’. Pours clear gold, larger than expected white head for a cask beer. Standard golden ale, smooth, lightly hoppy, very light citrus. Pleasant enough.

Cask pint on 8th Dec 2015 in a Shrewsbury Wetherspoons pub. Golden and clear body, on top a snow white crown of foam. Hoppy brew with some Grapefruit like flavours within it’s citrusy make up. Decent, refreshing and easy to drink.
