On tap at the mother’s kellys. A mostly clear golden yellow, bright coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is hot alcohol, semi sweet grains, spicy hop, Noble hop, slightly grassy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet grains, hint of nutty, spicy hop, grassy hop, hint of vanilla. Palate is semi sweet, medium bodied, moderate carbonation. , hint of sorachi ace hop. Really good example of the style.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s. It pours hazy gold with medium white head. The aroma is rich, oily, orange sponge cake, tangerine, cointreau, piss, white bread and cake. The taste is smooth, minerals, oily orange, tangerine, grass, creaminess, white bread, muffin and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Easy drinking stuff. Alcohol is not so obvious. Not bad.

Hazy gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has a nice fine carbonation. Malts are light,. mildly dry and have some Czech like bready lager qualities. Spicy floralness and a touch of ripe tropical fruits. More spicy floralness that turns sweeter. Light finish. Interesting beer!

Keg @ Euston Tap. Pours deep hazy gold with white head. Aroma is hoppy tropical fruit. Taste follows with a fairly sweet, orangey, exotic hop character with resinous marmalade. Faint herbal menthol on the finish. Not entirely sure where that came from. Good tho.

Bottle. Mr. Pickles, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Messy, sticky, white head. Grainy lager malts. Grassy hop. Light peach. Some tinned fruit. Taste is sweet, turning grassy bitter. Hop oily palate. Bit slick. Finishes long, grassy, herby bitter. Feels the ABV.

The hop combo is boring. Good yeast though. Lots of soft malts but a bit generic
