Bottle from Tanners Wine Merchants, Shrewsbury. Blonde with a creamy-bubbly head. Hoppy and deeper tasting in this respect than its strength would suggest. The robust continental hop is very evident in this one.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a hazy orange with bubble white head. Aroma is citrus, floral, earthy. Taste is zesty citrus, herbal, bitter, refreshing.

5/4/2020. Bottle courtesy of minutemat. Pours slightly hazy golden with a large fluffy white head. Aroma is floral, herbal, hoppy, fruity. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. More bitterness to finish. Decent light golden ale to enjoy on a sunny day.

500ml bottle: did not realise it was bottle conditioned. Poured at home into an Abbot Ale glass tankard on 11th Sep 2015 during the ’Shires Virtual Bar’ event on the UK Ratebeer forum. Cloudy golden pour, was clear until the sediment spilled out into the glass. White foaming head. Aroma has some yeastiness (my fault for the pour) which overpowered the delicate floral and herblike nose somewhat. The taste was also compromised by the yeast sediment that came out the bottle. Well carbonated, the flavours were mildly bitter hoppiness and light maltiness, some piny, spicy notes in the taste, glad to find no citrus influence for me to complain about. I liked it and annoyed I allowed the sediment to leave the bottle.

Bottle from Appleyards Deli, Shrewsbury. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Steady bubbles. Nose - lemon and green stalky notes. Taste - grapefruit and lemon. More green notes. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a solid blonde.

500ml bottle. Drunk in the park on a late Spring afternoon. Pours blonde with slight haze and decent foamy white head. Floral aroma. Typical blonde ale in the taste, a touch of wheat with a soft spiciness. On the whole not a bad effort.
