Bottle at the museum. Pours clear reddish black, medium tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is roasty, dark breads, some molasses. Medium sweet, light bitter, some molasses. Medium body, a bit burned perhaps. Not bad.

Drank this on the Azores and brought a bottle home to share with the Shrewsbury lads. Looks OK, a dark amber with not much of a head, off-white in colour. Fairly sweet malty nose and initial taste, a bit thin body wise but a different brew to what you’d expect from a beer called Munich.

330ml bottle @ the Fourth Shrewsbury Bottle Share, thanks to blackhaddock. Pours a very dark brown with a thick treacle chocolate aroma. Taste brings a slightly watery dunkel sweetness with some roasted malts. Ok.
