Bottle from Coed Y Dinas, Welshpool. Pours cloudy copper, clear malts. Supposed to have a thick fluffy head but I got nothing of the sort. Grassy with some berries, fairly uneventful but drinkable nonetheless.

Bottled. A red-amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of fruit as well as lighter notes of butter and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a quite bitter finish.

Bottle, 4.6%. Good grassy hop aroma, slightly caramelly and flowery. Almost clear dark orange colour. Small tan head. The flavour is slightly yeasty but with a good flowery and grassy hop note.

Bottle, Madame Fromage, Cardiff. Very hazy muddy orange colour with a thick beige head. Malty, butterscotch and root ginger aroma. Quite full bodied and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour had plenty of hops to balance the malt and spice; citrus tones not especially prominent. Dryish bitterfinish. Something better to do with your time in Wales than the 2 characters on the bottle....
