Bouteille 33cl de Malt Attacks. BB 14/02/2019; batch# 00529. Note grillée aussi sur la fin. La chaleur refait son retour sans pour cela être trop gênante.

(Draught at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 25 Aug 2018) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark chocolate, coffee, some smoke and a touch of tar. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, coffee, dark rye bread, a touch of chilli and a mild roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a mild chilli touch. Nice one.

Black with quick fading head. Fairly creamy texture. There is a gentle chilli hum and a little dark chocolate as promised.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ Swafff 2018. Dark brown amber, little head. Nose is too soy sauce, herbal, mocha for me. Taste is too plastic, dull, grainy some soy sauce, grainy. Plastic, herbal, soy sauce body, meh.

0,2l from tap at Penguin Bar, Bilbao. black color, small tan head. smells earthy, licorice, light bitter chocolate. medium body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, grassy, licorice, lightly smoky, bitter chocolate, light ashy, light chili like hotness towards the end. finishes lightly roasty bitter with a light chili hotness and notes of earth, bitter chocolate and light ashy notes. I rather like this one, rather expressive on the taste.

Bottle from Oddbins. It pours black with a medium light tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, dark chocolate, spicy, light chilli chai latte and charred wood. The taste is roasted malt, toasty, mild chilli spice, earth, light smoke, liquorice, umami and cacao. Finish is roasty with a well judged level of chilli spice. Light - medium body and moderate carbonation. Rather nice stuff.

Frothy beige head stayed well on a black, lightly effervescent body. Fruity aroma. Can’t smell properly tonight. Medium bodied, soft on the palate, sharp on the back. Sweet fruit, nectarine, cola, hints of roasted & a very long peppery finish. Reminds me of Dandelion & Burdock - This is good.
