Nearly black, airy beige head. Hoppy aroma, citrus, pine, roasted malt and chocolate. Bitter flavour, pine, roast, bitter chocolate, caramel. Flavourful and well balanced.

Bouteille 33cl de Malt Attacks, BB 27/4/2021, bottled 27/04/2020, ultra fresh.
Couleur brune-cuivre, col fin crémeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme au nez frais, hoppy goodness - dank, fin malté sur des effluves de chocolat et d'excellent torréfié voire de fines effluves d'espresso. Le houblon n'est pas en reste et apporte de belles notes d'agrumes avec un bouquet forestier de pin et conifères. Un léger chocolat arrive en rétro.
Palais est plaisant avec une belle charge de malts - retrouve un léger effet chocolaté - fin grillé et torréfié de café léger, retrouve un petit caractère biscuité - cookie. Amertume perce en retrait - note agrumes et pin. Petite note sèche en fin de bouche le tout complété par un léger effet de feuille de tabac.

(Draught at Moeder Lambic Original, Brussels, 18 Oct 2019) Black colour with lasting, beige head. Malty, roasted, hoppy nose with coffee, dark chocolate, mint, pine needles and grapefruit. Malty, roasted, hoppy taste with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, pine needles, a touch of mint and a balanced piney, citric bitterness. Almost full body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well made black IPA. Nice one.

Tasting sample @ BrewDog in Brussels (visited 13. 12. 2019) F: medium, light tanned, average retention. C: dark, opaque. A: orange, tangerine, mellow tropical fruits, bit pine, grapes, roasted tones. T: medium malty base, orange, light roasted tones, chocolate touch, bit herbal, cocoa, grapefruits, bit dark caramel, pine, nice balanced, for the style, fully enjoyed.

On tap at Hoppy Corner, pours black with a large tan head. Aroma brings out a good balance of earthy, piney hops, and dry roast. Flavour is robust, with a great balance of roasted malt and piney hops. The roast and hops are really beautifully balanced. Skillfully done. Excellent.

27/4/2019. Bottle from La Cave a Bulles, Paris. Pours almost black with a bubbly beige head. Aroma of hops, roasted malt, chocolate, citrus and dark fruits. Light to moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Bitter roasted, hoppy finish. Very nice.

Bottled. A black beer with a huge lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted mskt, chocolate, citrus fruits, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, bread, roasted malt, citrus fruits, and hops , leading to a bitter finish.

Tap at La Fine Mousse, Paris, 23rd May 18. Pours black, aroma is cocoa, liquorice, some pith, taste is bitter, citrus, coffee, bitter chocolate, really big bitter finish and linger. Good hop forward BIPA.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ Swafff 2018. Cool name. Black, creamy tanned head. Nose is massive coffee, very big fresh coffee, mocha, low roasted. All coffee, fresh, roast, low roast, very thick, very simple and more coffee than hoppy, bit basic but tasty for sure.
