Bright orange coloured 50cl can as 'Baltus', picked up at Pidou in Dunkirk. Drank at Auntie Sue's BBQ on 10th August 2024, the can having been pre-positioned by me. Why do I buy stuff when I know it's going to be shit? It's a cheap supermarket Lager and I shouldn't be anywhere near it!

0,5 boks fra Angkor Supermarket delt med Kitty på hotellrommet i Siem Reap mars-19: tilbake fra Angkor Wat og andre ikoniske steder i nærmere 40C, så tørsten er påtagelig. Denne gjør lite for å bedre situasjonen.

can from jaghana - thanks. Clear yellow, mid-sized white head. Shy malt flavours, dusty hints of hops - quite thin and watery.

Can at home in London. Clear, light gold pour with a filmy, white head. Some grainy malts in the nose. Faintly sweet flavor with some crispy malts, subtle metals, a little hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. A touch of earth and straw hops and a little malty cereal, but at once a bit watery. Drinkable, nothing too wrong.

Contrasting my previously rated beer of high regard and rare availability, sitting in front of me is a can of nameless supermarket beer that costs €0.55 in Paris - you can get three of these 500ml cans for the price of a metro ticket! This pours well, decent head, yellow body with no carbonation. Aroma of tin and grass, along with overprocessed grain. Taste is grain and.... um,, grain. Very simple, very boring. Refreshing in a desert. Dry finish. Maybe I should have bought another one of that last one - but then again, I could get 11 litres of this stuff for the same price!

Can. A dark golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, brewing cereal, and malt, leading to a dry finish.
