A subtle balance between the intensity of the malt and the light bitterness of the hops ... Gosto is an invitation to a tasty moment of freshness for a pure Gosto moment!

Pours clear, pale yellow. Small white head. Smell is very sweet, maltsyrup. Skunked. Taste is full, maltsyrup, sweet, very simple industrial lager.

Sample @ 1st edition Brewver Belgian gathering, Mar 07, 2020. Thanks Tim.

Heineken-produced industrial pale lager from Algeria, probably very close to the standard Tango Bière Blonde from the same plant, if not an alias - I will leave this daunting task to the admins... Thanks to tderoeck. Snow white, bubbly, open head with a thin, disparate 'veil' in the middle, clear 'old gold' robe. Aroma of bread crust, burnt rubber, straw, baking powder, plaster. Sweetish, 'dead' onset, medium carbonation, smooth grainy maltiness, slick with minerally side notes, leading to a lightly floral hop bitterish touch - a vague echo of hops in their most artificial and frugal form - but also with a 'chemical', plastic-like bitterishness to it. Poor industrial pale lager - worse even than Heineken's own name sake lager...

7/III/20 - 25cl bottle as a gift, shared @ 1st Official Brewver Meeting / Belgian Beer Geek Winter Gathering (2020), BB: 2/IX/20, produced: 3/IX/19 (2020-221) Thanks to Kathelyne for the bottle!

Clear pale blond beer, big fizzy aery irregular white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very dirty, lots of cow fodder, very dirty, highly unpleasant, wet socks, cardboard, big no-no. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, sugary, oxidized, bad, wet grains, cardboard. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, little fruity, sweet touch, meh.
