Clavados BA version thnx to Seb. Pours black, no head. Smell is sweet-ish, roasty, chocolate. Milder coffee. Taste is full, sharp, roasty, some coffee. Booze. no carbonation, really. Calvados ( or shoudl I say Clavados ? ) is recognizable. Fairly drinklable, but too thin and sharp.

Brune-ambre, pas de col, doré au verre, le tout s'ouvre sans un seul bruit;
Arôme au nez fin de barrique de Calva, rétro fin grillé-torréfié, petite touche de chocolat.
Palais est complètement plat - ce qui, de fait, enlève énormément de l'expérience. Retrouve un côté aigrelet en fin de bouche - peut être résidu du Calva et barrique.
Malt caramel, pâle, grillé, pointe de chocolat, rappel de barrel funk, note de fruits noirs - Calvados en retrait. Franchement déçu alors que la base de Whack est tjs sympa, mais là pour le prix c'est limite de la malhonnêteté.

Clear deep purple to red brown beer, no head. Aroma: malty, roasted, bit of a sourish impression, coffee notes. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: nice roast, lots of coffee, pretty oxidized, very bitter, green coffee, charcoal, rather unpleasant bitterness. Aftertaste: more oxidized, some green apples, bit of banana peel, very bitter, unpleasant finish.

75cl bottle from the brewery (bought 13. 12. 2019). F: no real, some bubbles. C: black, opaque. A: rich dark malts, bit vinous, apples touch, dark chocolate, cocoa, bit woody. T: medium to full body, chocolate, cocoa, light mellow fruity, apples touch, bit woody tannins, decent bitterness, relatively easy drinkable, quite nice, enjoyed for sure.
