Bottle, thx Fil for sharing with Ryan and me! Brown body, off-white head. Marzipan and cherry in the aroma, very Kasteelish. Sweet taste, light chocolate maltiness, some candyish cherries. Fake seeming but okay, it is exactly what it aimed to be.

Enjoyed straight from the PET growler. Aroma: Forest berries, sugar, malt, spicy notes. Taste: Light to medium sweet & bitter. Forest berries, sugar, malt, spicy notes, grass. Mouth feel: medium plus body, average to lively carbonation. Summary: Not the best fruited Belgian ale ever.

04/02/2018 - glass shared with tderoeck, 77ships and rubin77 @ BAB, Bruges Red colour with pink fading head. Nose & taste are sticky sweet red candy. Better make this a juice or something, it's a waste to put alcohol in it.

At Brugs Bierfestival, 4 February 2018. Cheers to Anke & Pieter!

Hazy dark red with a small, pinkish head. Strong, albeit not too enticing aroma of cherries, red candy ('neuzekes'), some wheat, faint hops, jam, sugar, hint of alcohol. Tastes medium to heavy candy-like sweet and only light wheaty bitter. Finishes sweet still with a faint hint of hops & wheat and a dash of fruit liqueur alcohol. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Mediocre at best, okay for a couple of sips.
