Bottle from Beerdome. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, oak, whiskey, toffee, alcohol, vinous notes, berries, roast, some chocolate, hint of port and/or red wine. Flavour is medium sweet with some bitterness and booze. Body is medium to full. There's certainly whiskey here but I didn't expect to encounter berries and vinous notes in this one. It's almost as if their Port BA went through an additional Whiskey barrel aging.

Bottle. Coppery brown colour with a mediumsized foamy slightly off-white head which leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet ripe fruits, some toasted and mild leathery tones with some caramel to it as well. Flavour is caramel, chocolate, caramel, some alcohol and mild figs to it. Ripe bananas, mild smoke and some slight spiciness as well. Quite complex. Good sipper.

Plus qu'à la recherche du bon, c'est à la recherche du beau qui est notre moteur, nous, zythologues de tous horizons. Et donc, en plus d'être excellente cette Pareto de Sori est belle. Belle par sa ligne élancée, belle par ses arômes brillants, belle par son équilibre et par son caractère. Cette Wee-Heavy vieilli en fût de Maccalan a toutes mes qualités et même ce petit plus d'âme qui vous feront passer un superbe moment que l'on se doit de partager. En verre nous sommes sur un joli brun limpide surmonté d'une mousse brune de 3 mm. Le nez nous met dans l'ambiance avec des arômes de whisky, de raisin, de caramel et de pomme. La dégustation est exceptionnelle, l'ensemble est vif, élancé, raffiné avec des arômes d'une très belle tension. Dès l'attaque, l'équilibre est parfait. Malt, amertume, alcool et sucre sont justement dosés. L'alcool reste chaud et brillant sans être agressif et avec un sucre qui n’est pas trop présent. De légères épices s'ajoutent aux arômes et se fondent sur de jolies variations. Belle présence en deuxième bouche sur une alliance aromatique que je trouve exceptionnelle. L’arrière-bouche est en deux temps, tout d'abord sur la fraîcheur pour ensuite être sur la chaleur de l'alcool. Final classe, élégant et raffiné. Merci à la brasserie Sori pour ce moment.

Clear, dark brown colored, medium beige head, rather lasting. Sweet caramel malt, toffee, dried fruit, woody, oak, whisky, light alcohol. Medium+ sweet malt, caramel, loads of toffee, dried fruit, plenty of wood and whisky, some chocolate notes, light alcohol and warmth in the finish. Medium+ bodied, soft carbonation, oily to sticky. Nice.

Bottle 33 cl. Dark brown, yellowish foam. Aroma: shades of oak, aging and oxidation, whisky, dark and caramel malt, dried fruit, a little toffee. Taste: powerful malt base, toffee and dried fruit, dried figs, blue raisins and dates, Speyside whisky, warming, very good ale.

330ml bottle. Pours very dark brown with a large head. Aroma is woody, sour dark fruit, toffee and light whisky. Taste has light sour fruit to start. Rich toffee and dark fruits on the finish. Whisky on the aftertaste.

Bottle 330ml. @ Liepyno namai, Lietuva.[ As Sori Pareto 2017 (Whisky Barrel-Aged) ].Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, sweet malt, whisky, wood - oak, caramel, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a duration, sweet malt, dark malt, chocolate, caramel, whisky, barrel - oak, dried fruit, smoked notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming, with a alcoholic note. [20181128] 7-4-7-4-15

Light medium brown color. Sweet nose a bit simple. But it’s oxidized with lots of Port and whiskey.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Dark amber colour with a thin lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, soft whisky barrel and fruits. Taste is sweet. Full bodied. Sweet finish with fruits and soft whisky barrel. Mellow. Soft. Nice.

Bottle@Jespers - Dark brown to black with a beige head. Dark sweet and light roasted malty with some sweet notes of caramel and toffee, some dark dried fruit shred, cocoa notes, medium to full body, nice whisky tinged notes into the sweet and toasted malty finish, very nice.
