Pareto (Whisky BA) is a monumental wee heavy aged to perfection in Macallan whisky barrels for 12 months. Dry and delicious. Decadent caramel sweetness is cut with oak and fruity whisky notes. Luscious brew suitable for slow sipping.

Thanks! 330 ml. bottle sampled. Black, little in the way of head. Nose is thick sweet vinous red wine, boozy warming with vinous dark chocolate. Thick mix of vinous red wine, chocolate, cherry, grape, dark chocolate, syrup, thick syrup, soft carbonation. Interesting blend of heavy vinous and chocolate in the back, nice, bit challenging but very un-whisky like for me.

Bottled 330ml (UJH)
Dark ruby colour, good beige head and some lace. Oaky-woody aroma, tannines. Medium-bodied. Caramel, berries, wood, light tannines. Toffee and hints of vanilla in the finish. Barrel is there but not so much whisky character. Base beer is not too exiciting. Sippable like port wine version.

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20171212) The beer poured clear and nearly black. Its head was medium sized and lightly tanned. Aroma had sweetness, berries, vineousness and vanilla. Palate was full bodied, warming and drying with medium carbonation. Flavours were vineousness, wood, vanilla, sweetness, berries and bitterness. Aftertaste had wood, vineousness and bitterness. A complex and nice brew. ABV was well hidden.

From backlog. Draught @ OlutExpo 2017, Helsinki. Pours dark brown with a smooth head. Aroma of whisky, berries, toffee, caramel, syrup and earthiness. Taste is earthy, woody and oaky with loads of whisky, toffee, vanilla and caramel. Finish is sweet, woody and oaky with some caramel, toffee, vanilla, whisky and fudge. Nice.

Draught @ Olutexpo 2017. Poured near black with a thin brown head. Aroma has roastedness, wood, red wine. I can't se this as whiskey version. Very drinkable though.

Tap at Olutexpo 2017, Helsinki. Color is very dark brown with very very small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Berries, dark berries, wood, dryness, oak, some distant hints of whiskey, some vineous elements and malts. Very complex. Great.
