Opaque dark brown colour with a ruby hue against the light, good creamy tan heas, half-way lasting, heavy lacing. Aroma roasted malts, black coffee, cocoa powder, liquorice, peat. Smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, chocolate, coffee, light earthy notes. Roasty sweetbitter aftertaste, medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation, smooth, rich, well-made, excellent stuff.

Draft. A black beer with a dense dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, bread, and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, oats, chocolate, and roasted malt, leading to a smooth sweet finish.

Tap @ Mig & Γlsnedkeren. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, caramel, dark fruit and licorice. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 040219

Cask@Charlies Bar, Copenhagen - pours black with a tan head. Sweet and roasted malty with some dark chocolate notes, some ashy charred malty roast, sweet caramel coming in, medium body, soft carbonation, dark malty charred finish.

On tap at SBH. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of cold coffee and cream, toffee, light fruity. Flavour is medium sweet, caramel, coffee, cream, some dried fruits, bitter finish, roast. Light bodied. Nice, classic.
