A Strong Ale spiced with all kinds of goodies. Our favourite feisty diva Madame Jeanette is present again, along with seasonings as Lapsang Souchong tea, ginger, star anise and honey. The collab is one of the re-runs of previous collaborations Marble Brewery engaged in during their existence. With all new beers of course. Good, Bad & Ugly is the one that was brewed at our place! The brewers also brewed at Kees and in Manchester at Marble's. All to celebrate the 20th birthday of Marble Brewery this November 2017. Hoppy birthday!

Tap at Pivoteka. Nice aroma, anise, speculoos, sweetish, but slightly cloying. Taste... Sweetish, anise, smoked notes, vague pepper burn. Almost no bitterness, well hidden abv for 9%. (8.9%, thanks Ogi!). Nice.

On tap at the Klooster Delft Medium creamy beige head. Hazy ruby pour. Herbal aftertaste.

Pours brown with a large off-white head.Nose shows ginger, soft smoke, light funk, red wine, cinnamon notes, light toasty malt.Flavours include more smoked tea notes, some light ginger, bready and toasty notes, and a very faint hint of chilli. Some green apple too.

Bottle. Aroma of smoke, honey, mild peppers, anise and malt. Taste has smoke, anise, honey, ginger, malt and smokey tea. Very nice.

Draught at BeerGeek Bar. Slightly cloudy, copper to brown colored. AROMA- spicy, star anise, Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong, touch of chilli. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, spicy, slightly chilli hot finish, star anise, dark fruit, touch of Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong. Fuller bodied.

On tap at The Three John's Islington. Dark dark ruby black colour lasting tan head. Perfumed aroma. I mean it's a bit weird. Not unpleasant. Some tea some spice some star anise. Some sweetness in the mouth. Base beer is fine a decent dark strong malty beer. Some dryness on the finish. Surprisingly drinkable given the list of ingredients. None of them overwhelm the beer. Spicy perfumed but fine. The alcohol is well hidden .
