The Brewers Bridge is the result of a collaboration with the famous Brewery Allagash (Portland, USA).
We combined our traditional brewing techniques with the hop and innovative brewing techniques of Brewery Allagash.
Brewers Bridge is a “saison » type of beer, very fresh, fruity dominated by citrus.
The phenolic notes, so typical for the Dupont beers, are certainly there.
While degustating, you will find bitterness, lemon and grapefruit ending up in a dry finish, what gives the beer its thirst quenching character.

Bottle at Sovereign, pours a translucent orange with some creamy, white head. Nose has a lot happening, grains including rye, wood pulp on the verge of cedar, stale bread, very musty. Flavor has wet crackers, grainy, yeast, dough, rye, some dried citrus peel. Finishes medium bodied and dry. Lots of character and some funk without tartness.

Bottle. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Light gold. Soft haze. Huge, dense, lasting, bright white head. Nose has yeasty bread. Bit of a sourdough vibe. Some fruit. To be honest it’s overwhelmingly yeasty, with little else coming through. Taste is sweet and bready. Hint of dryness. Mouthfeel is a little soggy. Foamy carbonation. Finish is a tad cleaner, but really this is a bit of a disappointment from these noble old money brewers.
