F: huge, creamy, tanned, good retention. C: black, opaque. A: dark malts, bit citrus, pine, passion fruits, orange, chocolate. T: dark malts, orange, pine, prunes, plastic, chocolate, bit warming alcohol, cocoa, weak tropical fruits, medium body and carbonation, not very hoppy for the style yet beside this not bad, enjoyed, 75cl bottle (bottled 19/11/17, 8,5% on the bottle and in the list from festival) from 5de Winters Bier Festival in Waregem.

Pours dark, caramelly brown to black. Small white heqd. Smell is chemical, dry, bit plastic. Taste is sharp, tad roasty, plastic. Mild bitter. Not good.

75 cl bottle. Pours dark brown, small brown hewd. Aroma is roasted malty, slight breadish. Mild hoppy. Mild fruity, bitter. Toasted. Bitter and slight fruity. Medium dry and hoppy finish.

Thanks for sharing! Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ Kerstbierfestival 2017. Blackish amber, tanned head. Nose is harsh cloying syrup, pain chemical,… Thick cloying raw alcoholic syrup, chemical, paint, prune,… Raw harsh cloying sludge, not my thing & that ignoring the fact that this was meant to be a Black IPA which is really not what this beer is.

At Winter Beer Fest 2017, Waregem. Shared with Anke!
Hazy dark brown with a lasting, small, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, candi sugar, dark fruits, raisin, some spices. It tastes medium to heavy sugary sweet, light fruity sour and light spicy bitter. It's the sweetness, however, that lingers in the finish. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Not bad, I have to admit, but somewhat unrefined, nothing unexpected for a winter beer.
