On tap at Greifenklau, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has herbaceous notes, sweet bready malt, and straw. Flavour is crisp, with herbaceous notes, grassy hop bitterness, and straw. Clean and crisp, well-constructed, and drinkable. Solid Helles.
Smooth, slightly bready malty and grainy earthy with some hints of hay, grass and sweetness. Crushable.

Bottle at home from De Laat. Clean golden wih a white pour. Clean, sweetish malt expressions of hay and honey, some green apple too, mainly in the finish. Kind of a meh.

Optisch klares Gold, Schaum passt. In der Nase unscheinbar. Im Trunk kaum Geschmack, sehr dünn. Getreide, seltsam geschmacksarm.

On tap at the brewpub Bamberg. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Cereal wheat flavour in the mouth .. almost like wheat flour. Then it gets a big more drinkable. Lemon. Light aroma of wheat flour remains. It's OK quite distinctive. Maybe a touch too much cereal flavour.

Clear gold blond beer, creamy white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, lots of barnyard, grains, cow fodder, very very rural impression, lots of wort, some citrus notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, grains, hoppy, some citrus, a bit zesty, cow fodder, very rural. Aftertaste: malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, good bitterness, a little sourish, very malty, wort, ok.

Greifenklau Helles, Flasche von REWE Rudel, Bamberg (eine der besten Quellen für fränkische Biere in Bamberg). - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase fein sommerlich-gerstiges helles Malz mit zartem Süßsauer und dezente orangenfruchtige und hopfenwürzige Hopfung. - Antrunk weich gerstig hellmalzig mit zarter Malzsüße, einem Hauch von Vanille und milder Hopfenherbe. Durchschnittlich rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang sanfte zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. Schwach ranziger Nachgeschmack. - Eher unauffälliges, gerade noch solide zu nennendes Helles. (29.8.2023.)

Clear golden pour with a decent white head. Malts, but also a hint of grass and citrus. Clear, crisp Heles - enjoyed it.
