First of this new-labelled Nocturna series, pouring a dark brown colour with copper-ruby highlights. The head is mocha-coloured, frothy, long lasting and leaving some nice lacing clouds. Coffee nose with the roasted malts coming out after breathing. Hints of vanilla, cacao and even bananas - maybe wheat. The taste shows roasted barley, coffee, bitter chocolate and grassiness from the hops. Not too sweet for a dessert beer, more on the bitter cacao side with good dryness in the finish - so not syrupy at all.

Jet black brown with a rich light brown head. Intense coffee, light barrel and roast. Light spice, chocolate and coffee. Nice body and a sweet slick note.

Bière 50 cl ramenée du Canada. Pas de "pssshh" à l'ouverture, pas de mousse, elle semble quasi plate. Robe noire opaque. Torréfaction et chocolat, cafe. En bouche, café, biscuit, vanille, bel équilibre, une belle réussite.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet black chocolate notes with some fudge notes, light floral coffee with subtle vanilla. Taste is also a mix of sweet black chocolate notes with some floral coffee notes with some light vanilla notes and subtle residual sugar notes are also noticeable. Body is pretty full with good carbonation with no real apparent alcohol. Wonderful dessert stout.

Bouteille 500ml. Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka foncée dense et crémeuse laissant une superbe dentelle. Arôme de café, vanille, malt torréfié, pointe d'alcool. Goût de café, malt torréfié, amertume moyenne, moyennement sucrée, cacao. Carbonatation faible, corps dense.
