Bottle, 6% Batch D26 - Foxwhelp, Michelin, Somerset Redstreak & Ashton Bitter. It pours clear luminous orange (approaching Irn Bru) with no head. The aroma is sweet powdery apple upfront, juicy and tangy, apple skin, red fruits, black grape, wood, funk and light barnyard. The taste is firm and dry initially, quite juicy, tangy, crisp apple, some grapes and brambles, woody tannins, farmyard funk in the backdrop, hint of acidity and stone fruit skin. Finish is bone dry. Medium bodied and flat. Given the varied reviews of this it seems to vary quite a bit between batches. This one is pretty great tbh. Lovely sweet fruit, dryness and light barnyard. Quenching and satisfying.

Thanks to Giovanni! 500 ml. bottle sampled @ Borefts 2017. Day 1. Clear golden. Nose is milky, stale UK cider funk, cheese, passable somewhat. Taste is awful, extremely watery rotting UK cider funk, just rotting & watery, yikes no.

Clear pale blond cider, no head. Aroma: lots and lots of sweet apple juice, lovely smell, more concentrated apple juice, nice! MF: soft to no carbon, medium to light body. Taste: not sweet, bit nasty, unpleasant bitterness, very dry and weird. Aftertaste: dirty, weird, grassy, muddy, meh.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear one, pale golden in color. Lots of apples on the nose, but a bit dull maybe. Slightly toffee-ish. The flavor is more clean, apples and more apples, medium bodied and semi-dry. Nice sourish apple-finish. A cider that drinks well, quenches the thirst and tastes nice as well, but doesn’t impress. 110128

Bottle @ Ulfborg Weekend, Jan 2011. Pours clear yellow with bubbles on top. Nose is fresh and fruity. Apple, pear and farmyard. Refreshing dry apple flavor. Not too much tartness going on. Dry and short end
